GENTsia is maintained by a small gaggle of volunteers and freelancers - designers, writers, I.T. dudes... you get the picture. Our efforts are not in the pursuit of either fame or fortune (though either, or both, would be nice), rather, we aspire simply to publishing a site that is of interest... to us! Yep, nothing altruistic here. It's just that as geeks and nerds, we are interested in science and society and politics and, occasionally, sports. But as guys, we also appreciate informality and females - hence the informal tone of the site, and the inclusion of models.

We are not corporate, so don't expect a lot of branding or commercialization. We are not a V.C. start-up, so don't even imagine that suing us for anything will get you anywhere. What we are is literate, liberal, red-blooded males. Nothing less, sometimes more.
